About
Me? Just an artist whose crafts range from the comical, the conceptual, the edible, to the DIYable.
Why I just referred to myself in the third person is beyond me, but anyway, I dabble in many creative crafts. Drawing is first and foremost and usually stands side by side with the conceptual works. My DIY works range from simple beadwork, to origami, and maybe a little needle and thread work.
I graduated in a fairly new art program at San Francisco State University. I’ll always consider the two professors as my utmost mentors as I always look to their works and their advice when I’m stuck on ideas.
It seems my presence on the web is mainly known for the Squires of Dimness comics found on North Side – the Aaron North fanblog. While it began as drawing the non-Trent Reznor members as Vasquez-esque comic characters, they’ve gradually began to break away from “being” these actual individuals to being their own original characters but still maintaining the familiar physical likeness.
While I’m probably mostly known for the web comic, I’ll continue to share my other creative facets here.
